News Huffman, Gregory, Carvajal and More Set for What Movie Would Make a Good Musical? Concert A concert version of Hey, You Know What Movie Would Make a Good Musical? will be presented Dec. 15 at the Zipper Factory Theater.

The 8 PM performance will boast the talents of Tony winner Cady Huffman, Chester Gregory II, Kate Wetherhead, Celina Carvajal, Alex Brightman, Todd Buonopane and Jillian Giacchi with Kyle G. Bailey, Anton Briones, Jessica Hershberg, Megan Gerlach, Douglas Goodhart, Jay A. Johnson, Stacia Marie Newcomb, Nicole Stefonek and Stephanie Umoh.

The evening will feature direction by Travis Greisler and Austin Regan with music direction by Christopher D. Littlefield. Singers will be backed by the Julian Peterson Trio.

Hey, You Know What Movie Would Make a Good Musical? was penned by Ryan Bogner (concept, lyrics), Mishaela Faucher (lyrics, choreography) and Jason Michael Snow (music).

The concert, according to press notes, is a "one night event of original music and parody, satirizing Broadway's current obsession with Hollywood. . . .The three writers host selections from three 'original' musicals based on popular films."
