News Hugh Jackman Brings Concert Act to Toronto Beginning July 5 Hugh Jackman in Concert, which recently played a two-week engagement in San Francisco, begins its run at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre July 5.

The limited engagement, presented by David Mirvish, is scheduled to continue through July 17 with a media night July 6.

Backed by an 18-piece orchestra, Tony Award winner Jackman performs a personal selection of his favorite musical numbers, including tunes from his Tony-winning turn in The Boy from Oz

"I have always loved performing live on stage," Jackman said in a previous statement. "Toronto was where I shot my first American film, 'X-Men,' and has great memories for me for lots of reasons. I can't wait to go back and spend some time there again."

Jackman revealed to a Toronto radio station on June 27 that he will appear in the film version of the musical Les Miserables

Warren Carlyle is the creative producer for Hugh Jackman in Concert, and Patrick Vaccariello serves as music supervisor and musical director. The creative team also includes lighting designer Ken Billington; scenic consultant John Lee Beatty; projection/video designer Alexander V. Nichols; and sound designer John Shivers.
