For the second straight year, Hugh Jackman will host the annual ceremony honoring the best in Broadway theatre. Jackman, who is currently starring as Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz, will host the awards live from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 6. CBS will broadcast the three-hour event live, 8-11 PM ET.
In a statement, Jackman said, "I'm honored to be invited to host the Tonys for a second time. This, on top of the incredible reception I've received from the Broadway community, caps a thrilling year being the new kid on the block. The experience has been a dream come true and I am looking forward to getting back to Radio City Music Hall."
Hugh Jackman is currently making his Broadway debut in The Boy From Oz. He starred as Joe Gillis in the Australian premiere of Sunset Boulevard and also received raves for his performance as Curly in the National Theatre's production of Oklahoma!. Jackman's film credits include "X-Men," "Someone Like You" and "Swordfish."
