News   Hunter Foster Leaves Urinetown July 27 for Somewhere That's Green; Bobby Found in Creek Fans of Hunter Foster's funny, deadpan, note-perfect performance in Urinetown have only until July 27 to see him play Bobby, the role he originated in the comic Broadway musical at The Henry Miller.

Although it has not been officially announced, Foster has been offered the role of, and is expected to star as, Seymour in Broadway's Little Shop of Horrors, Playbill On-Line has learned. Little Shop has gone through a creative-team and cast overhaul since its Connie Grappo-directed developmental staging this spring in Florida. Jerry Zaks is the new director, William Ivey Long is the new costume designer. Foster is expected to be the only cast member held over from the Florida run.

Luther Creek, late of Rent, A Man of No Importance and Hair at Encores!, will replace Foster as Bobby Strong July 29.

Little Shop of Horrors begins previews at the Virginia Theatre Aug. 29 with an official opening set for Oct. 2.
