News Hunter Ryan Herdlicka Takes Part in Reading of Ed Dixon Musical Cloak and Dagger Nov. 2 A reading of Cloak and Dagger (or: The Case of The Golden Venus), a new musical romp by veteran actor Ed Dixon, is being presented on the main stage of Goodspeed Opera House Nov. 2 at 1 PM.

The cast features A Little Night Music's Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, who is currently starring in Goodspeed's Something's Afoot, as well as Emily Behny, Ron Wisniski and Dixon.

Michael O'Flaherty is the musical director, and stage directions will be read by Bronson Norris Murphy.

The four-person musical, according to press notes, "requires almost no scenery as it moves cinematically from one scene to another with the leading man describing the locations. It covers every locale of colorful 1959 New York, the Bowery, Chinatown, Little Italy, the top of the Empire State Building, a Burlesque House, the Docks and an Opium Den as a down-and-out detective searches for a Blond Bombshell and her stolen golden statue."

The reading is open to the public. Visit www.goodspeed.org.
