The Collective NY's production of David Thigpen’s new drama Hurricane Party has extended its run at The Cherry Lane Theatre Off-Broadway through October 21. The play, directed by Tony nominee Maria Dizzia, began August 29 in Cherry Lane's Studio and was originally scheduled through October 7.

The Hurricane Party features a cast made up of Michael Abbott Jr. (In The Radiant City, Shotgun Stories), Booker Garrett (Morning is Broken, Inside Amy Schumer), Kevin Kane (Inside Amy Schumer, I Feel Pretty), Lacy Marie Meyer (Second Chance, Inside Amy Schumer), Sayra Player (A Little Closer, Old Times, Chained for Life), and Toni Lachelle Pollitt (Reasons to Be Pretty).
