Despite erroneous reports that the show would be closing Sunday, the Boston production of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change continues its open ended run at the Stuart Street Playhouse in Massachusetts.

The staging, which will celebrate its first year of performances at the venue this September, "is still running" according to the press spokesperson. The current cast of the musical revue with songs by Jimmy Roberts and lyrics by Joe DiPietro includes Chip Phillips, Amy White, Kathy St. George and Neal Young.

Meanwhile, the New York production of the show at the Westside Theatre has also been in the headlines this year. In January, it surpassed Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris as Off-Broadway's longest-running musical revue and in May reached its 2,000th performance. The stageshow, lovingly deemed as "'Seinfeld' set to music," has been running at the Manhattan venue since opening Aug. 1, 1996.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change continues to play at the Stuart Street Playhouse, 200 Stuart Street, in Boston, Massachusetts on its regular schedule: Tues.-Fri. at 8PM, including a matinee and evening performance on Sat. & Sun. For tickets, call (800) 447-7400. For more information on the theatre, visit www.stuartstreetplayhouse.com.
