Entitled Things to Ruin, the 7:30 PM evening will feature a collection of Iconis' rock and musical theatre songs about "porn stars, panic attacks, drug runs and true love, including cuts from Joe's garage band rock musical The Black Suits." Those scheduled to interpret the songwriter's work include Michael Kadin Craig, Katrina Dideriksen, Badia Farha, Matt Hinkley, Lance Rubin and Jason F. Williams. John Simpkins directs the concert, which will feature a four-piece band led by Iconis.

Joe Iconis, who received his MFA from the NYU/Tisch Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program, is a recipient of both the Jonathan Larson Award and the Daryl Roth Award. MCC will present his musical The Black Suits, penned with Robert Maddock, next year.
