News Iconis Songs to Be Heard in Things to Ruin Evening at Joe's Pub Joe Iconis, the songwriter whose works were recently presented at the Ars Nova, will also be part of an upcoming evening at Joe's Pub.

The Aug. 18 evening, entitled Things to Ruin, will feature a collection of Iconis' rock and musical theatre songs about "porn stars, panic attacks, drug runs and true love, including cuts from Joe's garage band rock musical The Black Suits." Those scheduled to interpret the songwriter's work include Michael Kadin Craig, Katrina Dideriksen, Badia Farha, Matt Hinkley, Lance Rubin and Jason F. Williams. Show time is 7:30 PM. Iconis, who received his MFA from the NYU/Tisch Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program, is a recipient of both the Jonathan Larson Award and the Daryl Roth Award. MCC will present his musical The Black Suits, penned with Robert Maddock, next year.
