News Idina Menzel, Marvin Hamlisch, Frankie Valli, Barry Manilow and More Set for Wolf Trap's Summer Lineup Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts has announced its summer lineup at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts.

Tony Award winner Idina Menzel, who created the role of Elphaba in the Stephen Schwartz musical Wicked, will offer a one-night-only concert Aug. 3 at 8:15 PM as part of the company's NSO @ Wolf Trap series. The National Symphony Orchestra concert will be conducted by Steven Reineke.

Multi-award winning conductor Marvin Hamlisch will also offer a NSO @ Wolf Trap concert July 13, which features Broadway hits and a special guest. Additionally, the Stephen Sondheim-Leonard Bernstein-Arthur Laurents classic West Side Story will be screened Aug. 14 as part of NSO, featuring Emil de Cou conducting the musical's score.

Theatre offerings will include Rock of Ages, which will be performed Sept. 9 at 8 PM, and Cirque Dreams - Pop Goes the Rock, which will play July 21 at 2 PM and 8 PM.

Other artists who will perform at Wolf Trap include Steve Winwood (May 29), k.d. lang (June 6), Martina McBride (June 13), Bonnie Raitt (June 14), Diana Krall (June 21), Norah Jones (June 27), Barenaked Ladies (July 11), Johnny Mathis (July 20), George Thorogood (Aug. 1), Barry Manilow (Aug. 16), Mary Chapin Carpenter (Aug. 18), Alan Jackson (Aug. 19) and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons (Aug. 23), among others.
