The Hamilton cast members aren't the only Broadway folk singing at the White House in Washington DC this month.

Wicked, Rent and Frozen star Idina Menzel served as one of the celebrity performers at the 138th annual Easter Egg Roll March 28.

The theme of the event, the last of President Barack Obama's two terms, was “Let's Celebrate.” Menzel sang the national anthem before the event, in which invited children raced to roll the specially designed colored keepsake eggs across the White House lawn.

An estimated 35,000 people attended.

The event was streamed live at WhiteHouse.gov/live. Watch a video of Menzel's performance here:

Other celebrity performers included Echosmith, Daya, Trevor Jackson and Silentó, plus the cast of Sesame Street and emcee Tommy McFly. Costumed characters will include Angry Birds The Powerpuff Girls, Captain Planet, Charlie Brown and Snoopy, Curious George and Sid the Science Kid, Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers, plus The Minions Bob, Stuart, and Kevin from Despicable Me
