Watch the music video from Trillium's first performance at Iron Bar:

According to press notes, "Janet Krupin and Alex Caraballo shocked themselves with how transcendent music can be when they created their first single Bandit within the first four hours of jamming together for the first time. He had a track, she had some lyrics, and they found out what happens when you put two people together who want to make music people love and blossomed with their shared desire to see more integrity and consciousness in the dance music scene."

"Music is meant to take you on a journey," said Krupin in an earlier statement. "Dance requires motion which causes all sorts of wonderful things to happen – physically, psychologically and beyond. We're seeking to create a tribal feeling of wellness that is a combination of workout and musical therapy." Added Caraballo, "The tracks we created seek to tap and feed off the crazy pulse of the world that surrounds us. We aim at giving everyone the same feeling one gets watching a really spectacular live show. Our goal is to make people feel more connected to their fellow man. We want to help people be the change they want to see in the world."

Krupin and Caraballo have both battled anxiety and depression, and Trillium is described as the "palpable evolution of two driven, talented, experienced, creative people with backgrounds that are wide and varied. It is a unique blend of theatricality and electronica that captures the battles between good and evil, light and dark, creation and destruction."

Krupin has also been seen on Broadway in Hands on a Hardbody and Bring It On. Caraballo is a musician who is also attending Brooklyn Law School.

Iron Bar is located at 713 8th Avenue. For more information on the band, visit their SoundCloud here or click here.
