Broadway Theatre Studios has announced that The Imbible: A Spirited History of Drinking has moved uptown for an open-ended run in the bar at New World Stages. The immersive show, which previously ran at the Huron Club at Soho Playhouse, serves complimentary cocktails during the performance.

The Off-Broadway engagement will officially open February 17.

In The Imbible, the show’s creator, mixologist Anthony Caporale, takes audiences through alcohol’s 10,000-year history, all while brewing beer, distilling spirits, mixing drinks, and singing. He is joined by the a cappella group The Backwaiters and a cast made up of Nicole DiMattei, Ruthellen Cheney, Tia Andriani, Kristin Guerin, Kate Hoover, Alec Lee, Alessandra Migliaccio, Luke Schaffer, Morgan Troia, and Kasey Yeargain.

The show features musical arrangements by Josh Ehrlich and production management by Michael Leslie.

New World Stages is located at 340 West 50th Street, New York. Tickets can be purchased by calling (800) 447-7400 or visiting Telecharge.com.
