The Off-Broadway revival of Eugene O’Neill’s 1922 drama The Hairy Ape, directed by Olivier Award winner Richard Jones at the Park Avenue Armory, will begin March 25 and run through April 22. Jones’ acclaimed production was mounted at the Old Vic in London in the fall of 2015, and is being re-imagined for the Armory’s Wade Thompson Drill Hall.

Starring Bobby Cannavale, the new cast for the Armory production is made up of David Costabile (Translations; Titanic; Billions, Showtime) in the role of Paddy, Becky Ann Baker (All My Sons, Broadway; Good People, Manhattan Theatre Club; Girls, HBO) as Mildred’s Aunt, and Catherine Combs (Gloria, Vineyard Theatre; Smokefall, Goodman Theatre) as Mildred.
