Classic Arts News Indianapolis Symphony Announces Summer Schedule The Indianapolis Symphony's summer concerts will include performances by pianists Kevin Cole and Stephen Prutsman and violinist Scott Yoo, the ISO announced.
The orchestra's main summer series, Symphony on the Prairie, takes place at the Conner Prairie Amphitheater in Fishers, Indiana, northwest of Indianapolis; the ensemble also plays two programs at the Johnson County Park Amphitheater south of the city.

Cole, a Gershwin specialist, is featured in the opening concert of Symphony on the Prairie in June 25, performing the composer's Rhapsody in Blue and New York Rhapsody; the program also includes works by Bernstein.

Other highlights include a three-week Mozart celebration in which Yoo and Prutsman each conduct a program and perform a concerto.
