News Inherit, Frost/Nixon, Spring Awakening, Deuce and Poppins to Offer Special Actors' Fund Performances A host of Broadway productions will offer special performances to benefit the Actors' Fund of America.

The July 2 performance (at 8 PM) of Inherit the Wind at the Lyceum Theatre, the July 22 performance (at 8 PM) of Frost/Nixon at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, the July 29 performance (at 7 PM) of Spring Awakening at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, the Aug. 12 performance (at 7 PM) of Deuce at the Music Box Theatre and the Dec. 11 performance (at 8 PM) of Mary Poppins at the New Amsterdam Theatre will all benefit the non-profit organization. The Actors' Fund, which was founded in 1882, is a non-profit organization that provides for the social welfare of all entertainment professionals. Some of the many programs The Actors' Fund provides include a nursing home and assisted living care facility; senior and disabled programs; mental health services; chemical dependency services; entertainment industry assistance programs; the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative; the AIDS Initiative; and supportive housing on both coasts.
