The 2018 Drama League Awards took place May 18 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square. Taylor Louderman, Ashley Park, and Kate Rockwell, who collectively make up “the Plastics” in Broadway’s Mean Girls, co-hosted the ceremony.

The awards honor Broadway and Off-Broadway productions and performances, with the ceremony culminating in the presentation of the Distinguished Performance Award, which goes to one artist a year and can only be won once in an artist’s lifetime. This year, the League recognized 55 actors as nominees for the distinction.

The 84th annual ceremony also honored Idina Menzel with the Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theater Award, Mean Girls director Casey Nicholaw with the Founders Award for Excellence in Directing, and the National Endowment for the Arts with the Unique Contribution to the Theater Award.
