Baby It’s You! tells “the story of the groundbreaking girl group, the Shirelles, and Florence Greenberg, the New Jersey housewife who discovered them. With the help of African-American songwriter/producer Luther Dixon, who became her lover, Florence took on a male-dominated industry and revolutionized pop music.”
The score of the musical includes doo-wop, pop and rock 'n' roll classics such as "Dedicated To The One I Love," "Soldier Boy," "Duke Of Earl," "He’s So Fine," "I Say A Little Prayer," "It's My Party," "Louie Louie," "Mama Said," "Shout," "Tonight's The Night," "I Met Him On A Sunday," "Rockin' Robin," "Twist and Shout" and many more.
The cast stars The Drowsy Chaperone’s Beth Leavel as well as Christina Sajous, Erica Ash, Kyra DaCosta, Crystal Starr Knighton, Allan Louis and Geno Henderson.
