An American in Paris Tony Award nominee Robert Fairchild stars in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, a new play with music that officially opened December 27 at The Pershing Square Signature Center. The production began previews December 21 and is scheduled to play through January 7, 2018.

Ensemble for the Romantic Century presents the world premiere of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein by Eve Wolf. The play parallels the creation of Shelley’s enduring Gothic novel Frankenstein with details of her own life as told through excerpts from the book and Shelley’s personal letters and private diaries. The production incorporates compositions by Bach and Schubert.
