The set, by Gilles Aillaud evokes a peaceful atmosphere on Mediterranean island, where Angela Winkler plays the utterly honest Iphegenia. Martin Wuttke plays her brother Orestes. Ulrich Wildgruber is the barbarian Thoas, who turns into a loving man and overcomes his brutality.
