News Iraq War Musical Satire Who's Your Baghdaddy? Sets Off-Broadway Premiere Who's Your Baghdaddy? Or How I Started The Iraq War, the new musical by Marshall Pailet and A.D. Penedo, will begin performances Off-Broadway Sept. 26. The musical comedy follows members of a support group for those who started the Iraq War.

With an official opening night slated for Oct. 17, performances will run through Nov. 22 at the Actors Temple Theater. Pailet helms the musical, with musical direction by Rona Siddiqui and choreography by Misha Shields. The story, which is based on a screenplay by J.T. Allen, is billed as "boisterous and irreverent." It centers on a group of mid-level spies "whose vanity and office politics contributed to the worst intelligence blunder in modern history." It received a workshop production in Washington, D.C. in 2011, with this staging marking its New York premiere.

The cast of Who's Your Baghdaddy? Or How I Started The Iraq War features Brennan Caldwell, Jason Collins, Brandon Espinoza, Olli Haaskivi, Nehal Joshi, Claire Neumann and Larisa Oleynik. The creative team includes Bob Drogin (creative consultant), Nora Ives (associate director), Hope Villanueva (production stage manager) and Daryl Eisenberg (casting).
