News Irish Comedian Tommy Tieran Brings Cracked to Village Theatre, Sept. 21 Irish comedian Tommy Tiernan will perform his show Cracked at the Village Theatre at 158 Bleeker Street beginning Sept. 21. The event, presented by WestBeth Entertainment, is part of the ongoing British/Irish Comedy Invasion.

Cracked is described as "a whirlwind of brilliant one-liners, offbeat observations and further tales from the maverick storyteller's never-ending story which includes a life lived on the dole for seven years, and a flirtation with the Catholic Church." Popular in Ireland, Britain, Australia and New Zealand, Tiernan won the Perrier Award and the British Comedy Award for his 1998 debut solo show. He's also had his own television show, "The Stand Up Show," on BBC1, and appeared in the film "About Adam."
