News   Irish Rep Hungry for More Farmer; Play to Run through Sept. 28
 
The Love-Hungry Farmer, a success for Irish Repertory Theatre in 2002, is a success again in 2003. The show, which returned to the Off-Broadway theatre Aug. 7, will extend two weeks to Sept. 28.

Des Keogh again stars in the play he adapted from the John B. Keane work Letters of a Love-Hungry Farmer. Charlotte Moore directs the piece, which previously played Irish Rep's W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre. This time around, it will play the Mainstage.

Keogh plays farmer John Bosco McLane, a man who has never been with a woman and is desperately seeking companionship. Keane died in June 2002.
