Scherzinger, who starred as Maureen Johnson in the 2010 Hollywood Bowl production of Rent, is reportedly among the favorites of the show's producers for Pippin's next Leading Player.

As previously reported, Miller will make her feature film debut in "The Hunger Games: Mokingjay."

Scherzinger has also been a judge on "The X Factor" and is a solo artist as well as the season 10 winner of "Dancing With the Stars."

The Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz musical is directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus and features choreography by Tony Award nominee Chet Walker, in the style of Bob Fosse, and circus creation by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (7 Fingers).

Pippin is the recipient of 2013 Tony Awards for Best Revival of a Musical, Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical (Miller), Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical (Andrea Martin) and Best Direction of a Musical (Paulus).
