The new play, directed by Doug Hughes (Doubt), will open on Broadway this fall, the New York daily states. Weaver and Kline are currently in negotiations to star in the Broadway production.

The play, the Post says, is "about two couples who spend a weekend in the country irritating the hell out of one another."

Rebeck is a Pulitzer Prize finalist whose plays include Broadway's Mauritius and Off-Broadway's Omnium Gatherum (co-written with Alexandra Gersten-Vassilaros), Bad Dates, Spike Heels, The Understudy, Loose Knit, The Butterfly Collection, The Water's Edge, The Scene, Our House and more. Her TV writing work includes "NYPD Blue," "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" and more. She is also a novelist.

Rebeck has also penned another new play, Seminar. The Post says Scott Ellis will direct this story about "four young writers who attend a class taught by a sadistic writing coach." Emmy winner Alec Baldwin is reportedly interested in Seminar.

No official announcement about either Poor Behavior or Seminar has been made.
