The Good Company's production of the world premiere of Isaac Oliver's Electra In a One-Piece begins previews Oct. 28 at the Wild Project in Manhattan.

Directed by David Ruttura, who is artistic director of the new theatre company, the production will officially open Nov. 1.

The cast features Chris Bannow, Michael Brusasco, Amanda Scot Ellis, Melanie Hopkins, Ian McWethy, Austin Mitchell, Matt Park and Erika Rolfsrud.

"A brutally funny modern tragedy," Electra In a One-Piece, according to the company, "re-imagines the Greek tale for our digital era. When Elle discovers that her mother has murdered her father and is burying him in the backyard, she sends for help the only way she knows how: the internet. Armed only with a video camera, she videotapes the gruesome scene and posts it on YouTube to alert her brother stationed in Iraq, inadvertently becoming an overnight YouTube sensation. Urged on by the chatter of anonymous commenters clamoring for more, Elle and her family saturate the internet with videos, stirring controversy and piquing the interest of a savvy television producer with plans for a camera-ready bloodbath."

The creative team includes Kenneth Grady Barker (set design), Moria Sine Clinton (costume design), Paul Toben and Jeremy Cunningham (lighting design), Jason Crystal (sound design) and Dustin O’Neill (projection design) with original music composed by Ryan Scott Oliver.

Show times are Wednesdays-Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM. Wild Project is located at 195 East 3rd Street. Tickets are $18 and can be reserved by calling (866) 811-4111 or by visiting www.TheWildProject.
