Rosler's album is described as "an eclectic Nino Rota meets Randy Newman & Kurt Weill-like musical theatrical journey." The 16-track album takes inspiration from Wilcox-Gay Recordios and Voice-o-Graph audio recordings.
"Rosler's Recording Booth" also features Spottiswoode, Terry Radigan, John Margolis, Kathena Bryant, Tam Lin, Jon Albrink, Tamara Hey and Rosler.
Keating performs "Practicing," which features a guest appearance by her mother, Carmen. Songs on the album also include "Where I've Been, What I've Done," "Take It Slow," "Halfway Honest Living" (performed by Sisto), and "Doris from Rego Park," which has been featured by Jonathan Schwartz on WNYC.
