It's Just Sex - or is it?
Playwright Jeff Gould premieres his second comic drama about marriage, It's Just Sex, Jan. 24-March 17 at Los Angeles' Whitefire Theatre. Opening night is Jan. 26. Gould also directs.
After Joan find her husband Phil cheating with a young woman, she devises a perfect night of revenge. She invites two other couples over for drinks and then suggests they play a game, which results in the men and women swapping partners for the night. Whether or not it's just sex or the couples are in deep maritial trouble, only the morning after will tell.
This is Gould's second play. His first, Troubled Waters, had a successful run at the Ventura Court Theater in 1997-98. Once a professional poker player, Gould has written many articles for "Card Player" magazine.
