News Ivey and Danner Will Be Part of Upcoming "Nurse Jackie" Episode An upcoming episode of the new Showtime series "Nurse Jackie" — starring Emmy winner and frequent stage actress Edie Falco — will feature theatre actors Judith Ivey and Blythe Danner.

The new episode, entitled "Tiny Bubbles," will premiere on the Showtime Network July 13 at 10:30 PM with encore broadcasts scheduled for July 13 at 11:30 PM, July 14 at 10:30 and 11:30 PM, July 15 at 9 PM, July 16 at 11:30 PM, July 17 at 9:30 PM, July 18 at 8 PM and July 19 at 10:30 PM. The episode, which was written by Rick Cleveland and directed by Craig Zisk, is described as such: "Jackie is caught off-guard when a nurse (Judith Ivey) she used to work with, who is dying of lung cancer, asks Jackie to help end her life. Meanwhile, Coop’s mother (Blythe Danner) is admitted with a gall bladder attack. We learn that he is the only son of lesbians…a fact that delights Jackie and O’Hara."

The cast also features Eve Best as Dr. Eleanor "Ellie" O'Hara, Peter Facinelli as Dr. Fitch Cooper, Merritt Wever as Zoey Barkow, Haaz Sleiman as Mohammed "Mo Mo" de la Cruz, Paul Schulze as Eddie Walzer, Anna Deavere Smith as Gloria Akalitus and Dominic Fumusa as Kevin Peyton.

Linda Wallem, Liz Brixius, John Melfi and Caryn Mandabach are the executive producers of the series; Richie Jackson is the co-executive producer.
