J. Harrison Ghee, who reigns over Broadway’s Kinky Boots as the fabulous Lola, will use his night off July 24 to appear at the live Broadway talk show Stage Fright at Therapy lounge in Manhattan.
The North Carolina-born Ghee worked previously as drag diva Crystal Demure, who for several years hosted a weekly show in New York City. He played Lola in the Kinky Boots national tour, and took over the Broadway role March 6, 2017.
Here is the upcoming schedule for the weekly series, which is hosted by drag personality Marti Gould Cummings with musical direction by Bradford Proctor. Guests are interviewed, do a performance, then play a game with the audience.
Stage Fright is presented every Monday at 10 PM at Therapy, located at 348 West 52nd Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. Tickets can be ordered by clicking here.
