Cole, who is credited with creating theatrical jazz dance, lent his talents to such musicals as Kismet, Man of La Mancha, Alive and Kicking, Jamaica, Kean and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, as well as the films "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and "There's No Business Like Show Business." Dick Cavett hosts the 8 PM panel and performance including appearances by Rivera, Marge Champion (featured in a clip from "Three for the Show"), choreographer Alan Johnson, Larry Fuller and Ethel and George Martin.
Also on hand will be Norma Doggett Beswick (Magdalena), Gemze deLappe (Kismet, Oklahoma), Stuart Hodes (Kismet), filmmaker Annette Macdonald, Jack Cole biographer Svetlana Grody, Dana Moore, Patti Lockery and Carol Shuberg, who will perform a Cole-inspired piece choreographed by Lockery.
