Following her acclaimed earlier work, We Are Proud to Present…, Sibblies Drury returns to Soho Rep. with Fairview, a play that takes on the naturalistic family drama, depicting the ways in which we watch and judge each other everyday, and investigating the impact of those actions.

In Fairview, the Frasier family prepares for Grandma’s birthday—but not all is going according to plan. Sarah Benson will direct the limited engagement May 29–July 1 at Soho Rep., located at 46 Walker Street, New York City.

Completing the cast will be Hannah Cabell (As You Like It, Suzan-Lori Parks’ Venus at the Signature Theatre), Natalia Payne (The Last Match), Jed Resnick (Avenue Q), and Luke Robertson (feeling.).

The creative team is made up of Raja Feather Kelly (choreographer), Tony Award winner Mimi Lien (scenic designer), Montana Levi Blanco (costume designer), Amith Chandrashaker (lighting designer), Mikaal Sulaiman (sound designer), J. David Brimmer (fight director), Ryan Courtney (props master), Garrett Allen (assistant director), Will Duty (production manager), Terri K. Kohler (production stage manager), and Mariah MacKenzie (assistant stage manager).

In October, this world-premiere production of Fairview will travel to Berkeley Repertory Theatre, which co-commissioned the play. For more information visit SohoRep.org.
