Additional performance dates are set for Feb. 12, 16 and 25 at 8 PM. There is also a performance scheduled for Jan. 19 at 7 PM. The cabaret features musical highlights from the revue Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris and additional songs not from that show's score.
In addition to Tony Award nominee Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll and Hyde) and Natascia Diaz (The Capeman), the rotating cast will include other performers from the 2006-2007 Brel production at The Zipper Theater, including Tamra Hayden, Rodney Hicks and Jim Stanek, as well as theatre and cabaret veterans Jean Brassard, Karen Kohler, Ereni Sevasti, Micheline Van Hautem, Sue Mathys, Rick Hip-Flores and Rich Siegel.
The evening was created by Dan Whitten, who produced the Zipper Theater revival, and features musical direction by Rick Hip-Flores. Brel songs include "Carousel," "My Childhood," "If We Only Have Love," "Ne Me Quitte Pas," "The Bulls," "Jackie," "Amsterdam" and "I Loved."
