Lynn Redgrave serves as honorary chair for the March 10 event at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom. Phil Reno provides musical direction. More stars are yet to be announced.

The evening, as usual, will feature performances by Broadway stars performing classic show tunes. The catch is they perform songs for roles in which they would never be cast.

Last year's event found LaChanze singing Judas' "Heaven on their Minds" from Jesus Christ Superstar, Raul Esparza belting Bea's "Fifty Percent" from Ballroom, Brooks Ashmanskas and Nicole Parker swooning as Eponine and Marius on Les Miserables' "A Little Fall of Rain" and Lin-Manuel Miranda handling Amy's "Not Getting Married" from Company, among others.

The evening will also honor producers Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel's "extraordinarily unique commitment to bringing provocative and daring works to mainstream New York theater audiences." The duo are currently represented on Broadway by August: Osage County, Spring Awakening, The Homecoming and November.

Proceeds from the benefit go towards MCC's production, play development, education and outreach programs. "Show only" tickets ($50) as well as tables are currently available by calling Nicole Cardamone, MCC's Development Associate, at (212)727-7722 ext. 233 or by visiting mcctheater.org.
