The Broadway company of Hamilton welcomes two new faces April 14: Aladdin Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart and three-time Tony nominee Brian d'Arcy James.

Iglehart assumes the dual roles of Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson from Seth Stewart at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The track earned original star Daveed Diggs a Tony Award in 2016. D'Arcy James takes over as King George from SNL alum Taran Killam, returning to the role he originated at the Public Theater.

Iglehart won a Tony Award for his performance as the Genie in Aladdin; he previously appeared on Broadway in Memphis and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. His screen credits include Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Gotham, and the upcoming Three Christs. He has collaborated with Lin-Manuel Miranda previously as part of the improv and freestyle group Freestyle Love Supreme.

D’Arcy James went on to earn a Tony nomination for his performance in Something Rotten!; he previously received nods for Shrek and Sweet Smell of Success. His additional stage credits include Macbeth, Time Stands Still, Next to Normal, The Apple Tree, and Titanic. On screen, he’s appeared in the Oscar-winning Spotlight, as well as the upcoming Netflix series 13 Reasons Why and the films Molly’s Game and Felt.

The current cast of Miranda’s Tony and Pulitzer-winning musical features Javier Muñoz as Alexander Hamilton, Brandon Victor Dixon as Aaron Burr, Lexi Lawson as Eliza Hamilton, Mandy Gonzalez as Angelica Schuyler, J. Quinton Johnson as Hercules Mulligan and James Madison, Alysa Deslorieux as Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds, and Anthony Lee Medina as John Laurens and Philip Hamilton.
