The 7 PM concert will feature the talents of two-time Tony winner James Naughton, Jan Maxwell, Annie Golden, Christian Campbell, jazz sensations Sachal Vasandani and Carolyn Leonhart, Tyley Ross, America Olivo, singer-songwriters Jamie Leonhart and Greg Naughton, Maggie Moore, Kristi Ambrosetti and Shelley McPherson.
Jeff Breithaupt will emcee the evening with Don Breithaupt on piano. The Breithaupt Brothers House Band will also include Allison Miller (drums), Steve Watson (bass), Pete McCann (guitar) and Steely Dan’s Michael Leonhart (trumpet).
The Breithaupt Brothers were Finalists for the 2010 and 2011 Fred Ebb Award for Musical Theatre Songwriting and won First Place in the Jazz category of the 2010 USA Songwriting Competition for their song, "The Angels' Share." Don was honored with a 2009 Emmy Award for outstanding theme song for the television show, "6teen" (Cartoon Network). Breithaupt Brothers songs have been featured on Showtime's "The L Word" and have been recorded by Brent Carver, Dione Taylor, Monkey House, Adi Braun, Rikki Rumball, Denzal Sinclaire, Joe Coughlin and Lorraine Lawson. They wrote the songs for Seeing Stars, an original boxing musical, which was read as part of the York Theatre's Development Reading Series and enjoyed a sold-out run at the New York Musical Theater Festival. In January 2010, the Breithaupt Brothers' debut recording, "Toronto Sings the Breithaupt Brothers Songbook," was released.
