Cabaret star Jamie deRoy will perform a benefit show to aid the group Variety: The Children’s Charity at Florence Gould Hall on Nov. 6.

Titled after her established act, “Jamie deRoy & friends,” the benefit show will be a release party for deRoy’s new CD, The Child in Me: Volume 2 —Songs That Take You Back to Your Childhood.

The deRoy benefit will be directed by Barry Kleinbort with accompaniment by musical director Rod Hausen. deRoy and her guests from Broadway, Off-Broadway and cabaret will perform songs from deRoy’s two CDs, The Child In Me Vols. 1 and 2.

Scheduled to perform are The Accidentals, Lisa Archer, Brent Barrertt, Roger Bart, Stephen Bogardus, Scott Coulter, Daisy Eagan, Ellen Foley, Eric Michael Gillett, Julie Gold, High 5 Vocalworks, Dee Hoty, Karen Mack, Heather Mac Rae, Deborah Tranelli and Michael Winther.

Tickets for the show range from $125 (including a champagne reception afterward with the cast), $50 in advance of the show and $60 at the door.
