Comedian-singer Jamie deRoy will bring her MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie deRoy & friends [sic] to the Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 W. 42nd St.) every Thursday night in March through March 25. The first performance is March 4.

DeRoy, who hosts the nationally seen cable TV show, "Jamie deRoy & Friends," will share the spotlight with some of her Broadway and cabaret friends. Among the guests will be the a cappella singing group The Accidentals, actress Loni Ackerman, composer David Shire, tyro pianist Peter Cincotti, singer-songwriter Amanda Green, actress Heather Mac Rae, comedian Rob Magnotti and comedienne Marla Schultz. Barry Kleinbort will direct.

DeRoy's film, television and theatre credits are fairly extensive. She began her stage career starring in the off-Broadway production of The Drunkard, with musical direction by Barry Manilow, with whom she later worked in night clubs. She has also appeared in Three Penny Opera with Rene Auberjonois. DeRoy also produced the off-Broadway hit show The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged).
