News Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Justin Kirk, Sharon Lawrence to Participate in "24 Hour Hollywood Rush" "24 Hour Hollywood Rush," one of the first theatre events of its kind to happen on the West Coast, will take place Feb. 20 at the Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, according to Access Hollywood.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Baby Dragon Fund, which assists youth recovering from addiction, depression and struggles with sexual identity, as well as The Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center.

The process for the event will begin on the evening of Feb. 19 at an undisclosed location, where a group of writers will produce six 10-minute plays in a 12-hour period. The plays will be presented to a group of directors and actors at 8 AM the morning of Feb. 20. The plays will be performed that evening after 12 hours of rehearsals during the day.

Actors scheduled to participate include Jamie-Lynn Sigler (Beauty and the Beast, "The Sopranos"), Yeardley Smith (“The Simpsons,” Yeardley Smith: More), Rosemarie DeWitt (“United States of Tara”), Justin Kirk (The Understudy, "Angels in America," “Weeds”), Amanda Righetti (“The Mentalist”), Dileep Rao (“Inception,” “Avatar”), Amber Lancaster (“The Hard Times of RJ Berger”), Jonathan Sadowski (”$#*! My Dad Says”), Brit Morgan (“True Blood”), Edi Gathegi (“Twilight”), Joel Michaely (“But I’m A Cheerleader”), Jonathan Bennett (“Mean Girls”), Kat Foster (“Til Death”), Michelle Borth (“The Forgotten,”), Michelle Clunie (“Queer as Folk”), Sharon Lawrence (Chicago, “NYPD Blue”), Cassie Scerbo (“Make It or Break It”), Jayson Blair (“The Hard Times of RJ Berger”), Chris Redman (“CSI: Miami”), Jodie Sweetin (“Full House”), Margauerite Moreau (“Parenthood”) and Zibby Allen (”$#*! My Dad Says”), with more to be announced.

Scheduled writers include Silvio Horta (“Ugly Betty”), Chris Landon (“Disturbia”), David Holstein (“Weeds”) and Eddie Kaye Thomas (known as an actor for Dog Sees God, The Bachlorette and the “American Pie” films). Directors will include Michael Sucsy (HBO's "Grey Gardens"), Matthew Lillard (an actor in London's Fuddy Meers, "Scream" and "Scooby Doo"), Tony Award nominee Kristin Hanggi (Rock of Ages), Dan Harris ("Superman Returns," "X2") and Richie Keen ("Traffic").

Jason H. Kennedy and Zibby Allen are executive producing the event, which they also founded. The host committee includes West Hollywood Mayor Hon. John J. Duran, Chad Allen, Jonathan Aubry, Dustin Lance Black, Carlos Carreras, Jeff Consoletti, Marina D’Amico, Craig Dougherty, Kyan Douglas, Jeremy Glazer, Anthony Glomski, Jill Goldstein, Chad Griffin, Rachel Griffin, Carlos Carreras, Kristin Hanggi, Sara Isaacson, Frank Meli, Chris Landon, Beth Lapides, Tony Leonhardt, Scott Mitchell, Andrew Oldershaw, Brett Ruttenberg, Nikki Weiss, John Wolf, Damon Wolf, Fay Wolf and Ryan Young. The Wilshire Ebell Theatre is located at 742 South Lucerne Boulevard in Los Angeles. General admission tickets start at $30 and are available at 24hourhollywoodrush.org. VIP tickets are also available and include admission to the after-party with the cast and crew at the Ebell Club in Los Angeles.
