Kevin Crewell directs and choreographs the production that features Robbins (Crimes of the Heart, Gypsy) as the Chaperone, Dunn (Spamalot) as Man in Chair and Arnoldy (Drowsy Chaperone national tour) as Janet Van der Graff.

The engagement is a production of the Human Race Theatre Company, in association with the Victoria Theatre Association's Miami Valley and Good Samaritan Hospitals Broadway Series. Performances will continue through March 20.

The cast also features Robb Sapp (Shrek) as Robert Martin, Christopher Gurr (Spamalot) as Aldolpho, Richard Vida as George, Patricia Linhart as Mrs. Tottendale, Scott Stoney as Underling, Saul Caplan as Feldzieg, Adrienne Gibbons as Kitty, Shawn Storms as Trix, as well as Scott Cote, Stephen M. Goldsmith, Erica Steinhagen, Amy Wren, Eric Byrd, Saul Caplan, Adrienne Gibbons and J.J. Tiemeyer.

The production uses J Branson's sets, originally created for Music Theatre of Wichita, with lighting design by John Rensel, sound design by Nathan Dean and original costumes by Gregg Barnes.

The musical has Tony-winning music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Gregg Morrison and a Tony-winning book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar. The Drowsy Chaperone spins to life as the Man in Chair, an impassioned theatre enthusiast, plays one of his favorite records for the audience. The musical is a madcap satirical romp through a jazz-age 1920s musical where the characters and real life merge with comic results.
