Returning to McKinley High this season will be Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester), Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Naya Rivera (Santana), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike), Darren Criss (Blaine) and their teacher and New Directions leader, Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester). Chord Overstreet, who played Sam on the series, will not be making a return.

Filming is currently underway for the third season of "Glee," in which Michele, Monteith and Colfer will begin their senior year. Also, in the upcoming season, Mercedes (Riley) will introduce her new supportive boyfriend, there will be a major tribute episode, viewers will meet Mike Chang’s (Shum) parents and the relationship between Kurt (Colfer) and Blaine (Criss) will move past the "honeymoon phase."
