Songs by Harold Arlen and Yip Harburg, Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart, Howard Dietz and Arthur Schwartz and more punctuate the 12-track disc.

"Home" is Monheit's tenth CD and will be accompanied by a world tour beginning in the fall.

"I wanted to return 'Home' to doing what I love best," Monheit said in a statement. "Getting back to my roots. For me, there's nothing like singing a jazz standard and giving it new life through one's own interpretation; bringing it to a new audience in a whole new and different light."

The complete track listing for "Home" is: "A Shine On Your Shoes," "There's a Small Hotel," "This Is Always," "Tonight You Belong To Me," "Look For the Silver Lining," "I'll Be Around," "Everything I've Got Belongs To You," "It's Only Smoke," "The Eagle and Me," "I Didn’t Know About You"/"All Too Soon," "Isn't It a Lovely Day" and "While We're Young."
