News Jarrod Spector Will Launch Monday Night Supper Club Series at The Plaza's Oak Room Jarrod Spector, currently appearing on Broadway in Jersey Boys, will kickoff The Oak Room's new Monday Night Supper Club Series, playing Monday nights at the Plaza Hotel, Nov. 29-Dec.13.

A three-course prix-fixe meal will be offered before Spector begins his performance at 9:30 PM.

Spector's cabaret act, Minor Fall, Major Lift, will be an autobiographical evening in which the singing actor tells his life story, the story "of a kid from Philadelphia and his tumultuous relationship with music," according to press notes.

Eric Michael Gillett will direct the evening, and Adam Ben-David will serve as music director.

The Monday Night Supper Club Series, which will continue through Dec. 13, was created to bring back the atmosphere of New York supper clubs of the 1940's and 1950's.

The Plaza Hotel is located at 770 Fifth Avenue. For reservations ($95), call (212) 758-7777.
