Jason Mraz Will Co-Host October Waitress Karaoke Session with Sara Bareilles

Tony- and Grammy-nominated Waitress composer Sara Bareilles will welcome incoming Waitress star Jason Mraz to the stage October 30 to co-host a new edition of the musical’s “Cast Album Karaoke” series.

Prior to the 7 PM performance, audience members will have the opportunity to sign up for a chance to sing a portion of any song from the score on the stage of the Brooks Atkinson Theatre stage in a post-show event.

Grammy winner Mraz, who sang with Bareilles on her concept album for the musical, will make his Broadway debut as Dr. Pomatter opposite current star Betsy Wolfe beginning November 3.

Bareilles, who also made her Broadway debut in the musical (succeeding Tony winner Jessie Mueller as Jenna), returns to emcee the karaoke series, which launched September 14 last year.
