News Jason Robert Brown, Betsy Wolfe and Adam Kantor Add More Last Five Years Concerts Adam Kantor and Betsy Wolfe, who co-starred in the acclaimed Second Stage Theatre revival of Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years, will join the composer-lyricist for three concerts of his musical at the Red Mountain Theatre Company in Birmingham, AL.

Performances will take place Feb. 19-21 at 7:30 PM. Kantor and Wolfe previously reunited for a Boston concert presentation of The Last Five Years and will also bring the evening to A.C.T. in San Francisco in March.

Brown will join the actors on piano for the RMTC concerts. RMTC was among the producers of Brown's The Bridges of Madison County.

Kantor (Rent, Avenue Q) and Wolfe (Bullets Over Broadway, The Mystery of Edwin Drood) "play the two twenty-something New Yorkers who dive head-first into marriage, fueled by the optimism of finding 'the one.'"

The film adaptation of the musical, which stars Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan, will be released in theatres Feb. 13.

The 2013 Off-Broadway revival, which proved to be a fan favorite, broke box-office records for Second Stage Theatre and ranks among the longest-running productions in the company's 34-year history.

Composer, lyricist and book writer Brown directed his semi-autobiographical work that starred Wolfe as struggling actress Cathy Hyatt, who falls in love with on-the-rise Jewish novelist Jamie Wellerstein, played by Kantor, the final Mark in Broadway's Tony and Pulitzer-winning Rent.

The original Off-Broadway production of The Last Five Years, directed by Daisy Prince, received the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Music and Outstanding Lyrics, and was nominated for five additional Drama Desk Awards, including Outstanding Musical. It was also nominated for the Outer Critics Circle Award and the Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical.

Brown is also the writer of Songs for a New World, Urban Cowboy the Musical, Honeymoon in Vegas and The Bridges of Madison County. He earned Tony Awards for the scores to Parade and The Bridges of Madison County, the latter also earning him a Tony Award for Best Orchestrations.
