News Jay Armstrong Johnson Joins "Seeking" Web Series, About Undatable Men and NYC Singles Scene Jay Armstrong Johnson, who stars in the acclaimed Broadway revival of On the Town, will join the second season of the comedic web series "Seeking."

Based on true stories, "Seeking," according to press notes, "follows New York City every-girl Ella as she is dared to give absurd and undatable men a chance in the NYC singles scene. 'Seeking' is born out of real-life dating stories that have been submitted by a slew of New Yorkers eager to share their woes."

Ronit Aranoff created and stars in the series, directed by Ruth Du. 

This season will also feature new additions to the cast, including Sharone Sayegh (Mamma Mia!), Eric Giancola (The Book of Mormon, Mary Poppins), Bryan Scott Johnson (Mamma Mia!, "Orange is the New Black"), Robbie Sublett ("The Good Wife"), Laura Ramadei, Meetu Chilana (Zarkana, Cirque du Soleil), Lawrence Arancio ("Forever"), Adriene Couvillion, Celine Rosenthal (Leap of Faith) and Gina Labozetta.

Returning cast members include Johnny Ramey (Superior Donuts), W. Tre Davis (Hamlet), Jenson Smith ("Louie"), Michael Hanson, Brian Cheng, Mark Mozingo and Nathan Bredeman.
