The score of The King and I isn't the only show music being performed at New York's Lincoln Center April 14-16.

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis and guest vocalist Kate Davis debut jazz arrangements of show tunes from the scores of five classic musicals, including Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun, Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific, Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim's West Side Story, Bock and Harnick's Fiddler On The Roof and Mel Brooks' The Producers in a series of concerts titled World on a String: Swinging Songs of Broadway.

Their songs have been given jazz arrangements by members of the Lincoln Center Orchestra, including Walter Blanding, Chris Crenshaw, Victor Goines, Carlos Henriquez, Sherman Irby, Ali Jackson, Ted Nash, Marcus Printup and Kenny Rampton.

The concerts take place at 8 PM at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater, Broadway at 60th Street.
