The star appears at J&R Music and Computer World at 12:30 PM to promote the Starz Home Entertainment release. Starz Cinema recently aired the film, which made its world premiere at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival.
"'Pittsburgh' is a labor of love for me, and it's very close to my heart," Goldbum stated. The actor is the focus of Kyle LaBrache and Chris Bradley's comedy, which is billed as somewhere "between genuine documentary and outright self-parody." The unrated film spans 84 minutes.
The film also stars Ed Begley, Jr.; Illeana Douglas; Moby; Alanis Morissette; Conan O'Brien; and Goldblum's manager, Keith Addis. "What's fact? What's fiction? Whatever it is, Goldblum isn't talking. He's leaving it up to the viewers to decide for themselves."
Goldblum, last seen on Broadway in The Pillowman, has also performed onstage in The Play What I Wrote, Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Exonerated and Twelfth Night or What You Will. Goldblum is known for his film work in "The Big Chill," "Jurassic Park," "The Fly," "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou," "Independence Day" and more. He is among the founding members of the theatre company The Fire Dept.
The signing will take place at J&R Music and Computer World, located at 23 Park Row (across from City Hall Park).
