Director Shane Scheel and musical director Chris Bratten conceived the show that highlights songs used in Lurhmann's films "Strictly Ballroom," "Romeo + Juliet" and "Moulin Rouge." For the Record: Baz Lurhmann will run through April 30. Performances take place Friday and Saturday nights at 9 PM.
In addition to Green (Wicked, "Sabrina the Teenage Witch") and Reinders (Wicked, Gypsy), the cast includes Arielle Jacobs (In the Heights), Dionne Gipson, Ben D. Goldberg, Nick Haskell, Sarah Jayne Jensen, Ginifer King, Derek, Klena, Steve Mazurek, John Charles Meyer, Michael Motroni, Tinuke Oyefule, Jason Paige, Darryl Samira, Margaret Spirito, Brooke Tansley, Talia Thiesfield and Jessica Keenan Wynn.
For the Record: Baz Lurhmann includes such songs as "Lovefool," "Kissing You," "When Doves Cry," "Love Is In The Air," "Time After Time," "Come What May," "Your Song," "Roxanne," "Children Of The Revolution" and "Rhythm Of The Night."
A special Valentine's Day performance will also be presented Feb. 14 at 9 PM.
