News Jennifer Holliday to Sing at Miracle House Benefit Tony Award winner Jennifer Holliday, who created the role of Effie in the original Broadway production of Dreamgirls, will lend her vocal talents to help raise funds for Miracle House during the organization's upcoming benefit.

Miracle's House's 19th Memorial Day Summer Kickoff will be held May 23 at the Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club in Bridgehampton, NY. Bethenny Frankel of "The Real Housewives of New York City" will host the evening, which begins at 5 PM. Holliday will perform at the culmination of the three-hour event.

Amy Chanos, founding Board member of Miracle House, said in a statement, "There is no better way to start the summer than with a fabulous party, a spectacular ocean view, and a cause that touches the heart of so many people." This year's fundraiser will celebrate the life of the late Nan Sweetser, a founder of Miracle House.
